I remember the music so well from the games, specially Alex Kidd music. The CD were too short but I love it, will buy the vol 2 and 3 too. Recomended and it is only $19,99, that's cheap.

Demoscene DVD

Now finaly I got the Demoscene DVD at home.
Mindcandy Volume 1: PC Demos.

It contains also the classic "2nd Reality Demo" and a bunch of other Demos too. I haven't run the disc yet but it is double sided disc, like the Laserdiscs were.

The disc contains Side 1. 22 New Skool demos and Side B 20 Old Skool demos.
And every demo has commentary in it, worth having in your collection if you are a demoscene fan.

Fixing an old Computer

Hi everyone.

I have added links to Wikipedia if you want to read more of a specific drive or ting.

Now I format an 40 GB hd for Windows milennium usage.
My old 386 motherboard did crash or what it now did... but I wanted an computer which got an serial and parallel ports because then I can use it to c1570 disk drife for copy files between PC and C64.

The c64 files are on pc in PRG P00 and one other format what i already forgot...

And containerfiles, (diskimages) D64 for disk image and t64 for tape image.

I got problems with my PC 5,25' drive. I try to install the OS first and then plug in the drive (and switch bios) I hope it will work fine.

Finaly i did get mine lasedisc discs.
2 of them and both NTCS format.

The picture shows the difference in size between my disc and a standard DVD.

These laserdiscs has 2 sides and it is actually 2 discs but they have been glued 2 discs (like pankake)

It is a analog format even if it is laserbased. You can see same kind of tracks on the disk that standard LP records have.
So it isn't Binary numbers, it is plain Analog vibration based data which a laser then reads and converts to Picture and sound.

Sorry for taking this so stupid long time...

But now I've promise you!

5 bloggposts each week. I have to take this as an habit. It is always fun to talk about everything, and the school has started once again, so I should have time.

What about my podcast... it is lame... it should had started once again now, but no start. So I should do soon on this week a new one. But it isn't easy when I got miljons things to do.

Yesterday I was looking at Play-Asia.com for Great Gameplay music.
I did an testorder to see how great the site were. About 1-2 week with standard mail. The CDs i order were:

Radilgy / Radirgy / Rajirugi Original Soundtrack (Japanese, Audio CD)

and

Game Music Collection ~Sony Computer Entertainment Japan BEST~ (Japanese, Audio CD)

I was surprised that Radirgy was a game from 2006 and Guess which platform? Yes Dreamcast. And the game was released early 2006 only in Japan.

I will buy something from there in the near future...
So much I want so little money...

-Webcam.
-Earphones.
-New mobilephone.
-CD-A burner.
-Laser Printer.
-New Gamemusic CDs.
-Japanese PS2 or GC game.

That's only a little list... but sooner or later I will have everything on that list.

The Mac Mini

I ordered few days ago My new Mac mini with 60 Gb Ipod, more of that when it arrives.

It should be here on the 9th August 2006, but we'll see.

Again it has been very long time since I wrote.

Yesterday I brought a new flat screen to my compy. A 19' Samsung SyncMaster 940BF

Works really good. 2ms thats wow.

Long time since

Hi I am bak on the track now, I hope, atleast blogging.

Easter come and went, I work parttime at Volvo Torslanda Plant. It is un, and I need the money for my next project, an 5th gen iPod. I will buy it from www.apple.se it isn't sheaper or expensive there, may just 20 kronas expensive.

AmiGBG and other things

Sorry that I haven't been writing for long time. But now, something interesting. Finally My Scanner has arrived

My Canon: CanoScan LiDE 500F is here, and it is working, fantastic machine. Scan negative pictures or "dia pictures"(?) to your computer, it doesn't need any powersuply, it got it's power from USB cable. It is fast and can scan documents to searchable PDF, isn't that great :D
More of that later on when I have tested it and so on.

A new scanner.

I am thinking of a new scanner.
I need it because I want to get all my old Magazines (DVD/Game/Computer Magazines) to a PDF, and because the money is a quite problem now so this is the scanner what i'm thinking of.

anyone of my blogreaders do know about this scanner? need a bit of advice.

Otherwise I will buy this one end of this month.

Now at last

Now I got my old new room again. 2 years I spent my life in that room behind that wall <---- over there. And now finally moved back to my own place, oh how wonderful this is to me. Now I got to place my stuff to their right places and then everything will be fine. It may take few weeks, but it's fun to look on something that has been hidden for 2 years.

Just boring

I do not know what I shall do now, the lesson will start soon... No.. Still 45 minutes left. And I have been here since 11:00 AM.

About my room

My room is chaotic right now, but it will be fine, I cant find anything here right now. I miss some CDs and so on.

Now on Saturday I will move to the next room. I hope so, I got so much stuff here around and my parent's says that:
"how do you get fit with all stuff you got, because the room is smaller"

I just do it, I can proof it that it goes.

Webdesign

Finally we started the webdesign course in school, this had been the course I had been waiting for 2-3 months.

Now I will do my crappy old homepage a giant face lift.
And convert everything to English.

The room behind this wall --->

I am going to change room soon, this room is too big and so on. And on summers this room is too warm, so I'm glad to get back my old smaler room.

Nice and very light even if it has a window to north. But the morning sun shines to a housewall and it reflect the light to my room very nice.

Tomorrow we'll begin with Webdesign. Perfect if I and a friend are going to make a homepage for our church.

Meeting Friends!

Hi once again.

Today had been quite busy day, because I have been both in school and met a friend.
I got to do a commercial paper, and I Decided to do a C64 Computer from the early 80:s

But that is soon finished, just the finishing up work left.

The other thing I did was to tell a great friend of me about the Mac Mini with it's great intel processor, and he agreed, and now we are going to buy both a mac mini and we will become switchers.

Thanks for Don who does the screencasts for mac, that was very great and helpfully, now im not all naked when I start with the mac on the summer 2006. That's great.

Mac Mini with Intel

The Mac mini gets now Intel.

Great, this I had waited for, and now I am really happy and intrested to switch over to the Mac side.

It's 4 USB ports, The intel Double core processor, can't get better at the very moment.
But still, the price as excepted was higher now. But who cares, 2000 SEK more or less, I can wait for the money.

Reading more about it, some other who has thoughs of mac mini? I am fashinated.

About the Mac Mini

Now I am 100% sure that I will get one Mac Mini computer for me.
Just wait for the money, I got now for it about 2500 Kr and it cost about 5500 Kr. (swedish Kronas)

So I think I'll have it till the summer.
Hopefully.

Time To go to the church soon, hope this time it won't be a stupid happening like yesterday.

I have though to buy a Mac mini, but not quite sure yet. Need a bit help, because I don't know anything. But I think where to look, www.screencastsonline.com is a great place to look first, Don's forum there. He knows much because he does screencast on how to use mac and it's program (and 3rd part programs)

But enough of me for now, I go brush my theath and so on.
Then I tell you all what project I do have now.

The India Meeting

This meeting was totaly crap, i think.
Not if you was the normal listener, but for me.

Some other church may have stolen our microphones and everything like that, so I did't do anything, just sitt there and stink...

I was a bit sad and mad, so the whole content of the meeting went off.

Ok, enough of that horrible happening.

I saw earlier the time stamp here when this or that blog has been posted, and it is all wrong here in Sweden.

The time here now is 10:00PM, and nothing else.

But I write more tomorow morning.

Blogging for fun?

This is my first blog, no not really, we got "The Place podcast" blog but that's not the intresting about that blog.

I want to tell you about the things or like projects I do now, that's not so intresting maybe, but...
the real c64 experiments, like copying disk images to real 5.25" disks, and then run them om real c64. They work fine, pretty all of the disk image files called *.d64 but best would work the Tape images *.t64.
Enough of that,

Tonight I will have to mix some meeting because we got guests from India, in a church. Maybe more of that later.
